Actually imbed themselves in a target thirty feet away...

"I... I don't even want to know how heavy the bolt was for that," Linx muttered. This guy is insane. "Nor the rate of fire."

About as heavy as a small bar of steel. Rate of fire was about fwas quick enough to empty fourty rounds in ten seconds... Twenty per side, so one twenty per minute.

"And that worked like... I don't know how you got your statistics. But they're pretty much physically impossible, unless you were using the air tank previously." Maybe Raiden was lying to himself or something. Plate of metal?...

I'm not sure quite HOW it worked Linx... Only that the counter-weights worked.

"Well, my experience says you're being weird," Linx joked. This situation needed more humor. "The air tank system rules, in any case... You can expect it to be done by the end of the month at most."
OOC: I probably won't be able to provide an actual animation by then, but you'll have the idea.

My experience says Compressed Air beats my counter-weights.

OOC: I know.

"By a billion," Linx confirmed. "As I said before... They don't apply constant force to the mainspring, unlike a counteracting leaf spring would. That means it can fly forward as quickly as it can go."

Which means I get full-auto with less chance of a stand-still being reached... Right?

"Pretty much no chance of a standstill, actually. It'll have an integral air pump so you can recharge right there on the battlefield, and a pressure gauge too. You won't get a standstill, end of story," Linx assured him. It looked like his original plan had a lot of room for unreliability.

Fair enough... But we've got that module design to work on too... That'll be interesting.

"Yes... Modular construction, that'll be fun. I'm doing my best to make it easily detachable without actually taking anything necessary from the rail mount. Difficult." The primary source of difficulty was the trigger, but that could be worked around. Everything could. The only problem with what they were doing was that Dengoro was completely uninvolved.
In fact, the skunk was actually considering just leaving. "Uh... You guys?"

What Dengoro?

Dengoro looked at Raiden a bit sourly. Being left out for so long hadn't improved his feelings a bit. "I'll be blunt. I'm getting sick of just sitting here and listening to you guys talk about stuff I haven't even heard of."
"Well..." Great. He's just... Upon hearing Dengoro's complaint, Linx had the wind forcefully torn from his sails. He couldn't stand to see the skunk in distress.

Sorry man... I've just been waiting for a while to get this action from Linx for a while...
