Some people have noticed that but we prefer not to bring it up...It's too sad...Most of its true but still, what good is a book if the baddies win? You can't get any eviller than killing your allies when you're a warlord, and I personally think I won't grow out of these books...I am in 7th grade, still like them, even though I read my first one in 3rd grade. I still read other books more often but I applaud his talents. Brian Jacques has the best style of writing I have ever read. And yes, you ARE too old. Not old physically most likely in terms of years, but old in the mind. You need some fresh blood up there, let your creative side of your brain kick in.

I agree with Padrina's Ghost. Maybe Mr. Jacques is creative and/or he is still a little kid inside... but it's very very very very very very very very very very deep. Don't blame the man for having his 'imagination' roam free... or something like that. I've read Redwall when I was in fifth grade. At first, I did not understand the whole meaning of the book, but then after reading three books: Outcast of Redwall, Salamandastron, Martin the Warrior, I finally knew what it's all about.
And, dude, plagues and diseases could happen. Like what happened to Loamhedge, but Brian chooses not to. Or the Redwallers are too clean to catch a plague.Write a letter to him, man!

I will as soon as I find an address.
Indeed, he may be a little kid inside. I just wish people like me could be able to enjoy those books even as we mature.

Actually, only a frugal shard of my time is spent on VGs. Most of my life revolves around academics, but I also like to build models, compose C.A. music, and talk online like I am now. Calvary? vechiles? what would they ride and what kind of vechiles and that was REALLY long The kind of horse present in the beginning of the original Redwall, and vehicles drawn by them (unless we're jumping to steam engines for some reason). It's a pity that Cluny's cart was the only one of its kind.

That's weird.... but not really... It depends oon what age you're in. A 'certain' sibling of mine likes to play video games and she's in a 'certain' old age. Not like Grandma age. But... ya know.
