Well, yeah, otherwise it doesn't work. This is the guy who understands all the internal mechanisms of a modern-day assault rifle.

A .22? Hm. Is it lever or bolt-action? (And single-shot or magazine-fed? I'm interested.)

Um well it's a single bolt-action for now since my dad lost a part, but if he hadn't it could shot 3 without re-loading, and I also have an air-riffle.

Really? That's cool. I have an airsoft collection so I know what air-powered guns are like.

My family has a number of firearms, but we're in suburbs so they're in storage outside the house. I keep the airsoft guns at home, though.

They're like BB guns but they shoot 6mm plastic BBs, usually .12 or .20g mass, so they're more suitable to fire at other people in a sport similar to paintball. Most mimic actual guns. I have a pump rifle, a spring pistol, an electric Beretta, a pair of mini submachineguns (AUG and MP5 respectively), and an electric MP7 at this time.
There are three varieties: Spring, electric and gas. The former must be cocked before each shot. Electric uses an electric motor to draw back the bolt. Gas uses compressed gas to do it.
