Fishrudder stepped into the training grounds. It was empty, the torches were out, why, everyone was gone, how strange. Fishrudder had his kite shield on his arm. He hadn't been wearing his armor of late, but had decided to wear some of it. Which was his breastplate and kite shield. On his hip was sword. It was in good condition for it's age, it was over 25 seasons. It was older then he was, it had been his father's a long time ago.
The black otter lit the torches with the flint and tinder that was on the floor next to the door. He sat down on the heavy stone bench and took out his sword. Quietly he unsheathed his sword, relishing the slink as the sword bumped the metal on the edge of his sheath. He slipped his paw into the breastplate, pulling out an old rag, covered with a solvent that Sinthin had made for him. He slowly rubbed the rag up and down the sword until it was so shiny he could see his reflection perfectly in the flickering light. He continued polishing the sword and his other weapons. Waiting for someone to show up.

Cressida had decided to head down to the training grounds, she needed some time to think about the current events. She had taken her long sword and had worn her leather armor in-case she met anyone down in the training grounds.
She had come down to the grounds a lot over the past few days. She would always come down and light the torches, and then she would sit in silence, thinking about her family that she missed o so dearly.
When she opened the doors she saw Fishrudder sitting in silence, cleaning his sword. Cressida walked up next to him. Looking down at him she said "Hey, what brings you down here at this time of night?"

I don't really know, hoping someone would come, and a chance to think in peace, we need to get rid of some of this smoke that is swirling around in here any ideas?
**He glanced at her and said** Would you like to spar?

Cessida looked into his eyes, he was so perfect! He reminds me of my brother... "That sounds great!" she said with a broad grin.

Then, let's **Fishrudder slipped the rag back into his breastplate and hefted the sword in one of his brawny hands. It was time to see how this squirrel could fight**

Cressida also unsheathed her sword. She looked him straight in the eye, and swung her long sword at his left leg. It's time to show him what I can really do.

He returned the look in the eye his green eyes flashed and he dropped the point to the ground, stopped the sword. He flipped it back up towards both of their chests.

Cressida smiled that was only practice, now its time for the real thing. **Cressida dove to the side and quickly jabbed at his stomach**

Cressida wasn't expecting the attack and was hit full on in the rib. She fell to the floor, out of breath. She slowly rose and jumped in midair, she landed and slid right under the otter's legs slicing at his left ankle.

He collapsed to the floor as Cressida dived under him, trying to trap her beneath him. The blade sliced his skin, just taking off his black fur. It left a small slice in his ankle.

He twisted and popped up (Yes, possible, I do it all the time) and slashed from the right to left and then reversed it

** Cressida blocked the first array of attacks, but wasn't fast enough to block the second. She recieved a slice across her stomach, but it didn't pierce at all. She then swung her sword at his with a lot of strength planning her next move carefully.**

Fishrudder continued the slash, going up and around bringing it back to the starting position. He took a step back, and unclipped the shield, now it was sword against sword.
