Aldar had just awoken, the events that just happened took a lot out of him. "Ugh I dont think ive ever been so sore. Aldar turned and saw Ellich still sleeping, luckly that poison from the rats dart wasnt fatal, Aldar wouldnt know what to say to Linx if he had died. He then turned on his other side to find a small table filled with goodies from friends around the fort. He noticed Ellich had none, as he figured, he didnt even like Ellich that much. Then Aldar heard someone walk into the room.

Linx wanted to give that money back... Not right away, though. He needed to speak to Ellich first... Or... Someone... Now that the excitement of his turning 25 had died dow, he just wanted to talk. It turned out that Aldar saw him walk in, obviously awake. "Hey. How you doing?"

"Im good, and I saved him, despite those rumors that keep going around. I'm a little beat though." Aldar turned to see Linx walking in, most likely here to see Ellich rather them him.

"That's fine... I heard some stuff about vermin. Makes sense, Ellich got... Poisoned, I guess, has he been awake lately?" Obviously, Aldar wasn't Linx's primary concern, but the mouse wasn't about to ignore him. Some answers to his questions would be welcome, though.

"No. this is the first time I woke up, has it been a long time or somthing? I really dont know what ended up with Ellich, I wouldnt know." Aldar looked at Ellich before turning his head back to Linx.

"You've been here for about a week. Uh... I guess you two haven't been awake before now, and, uh... Still not awake, in Ellich's case... I don't really know what to say. I wanted to ask him how he was doing but he seems to be asleep. So w..." Linx faltered and glanced at the floor. "I really have no clue what to do."

"Right, whatever. I guess I'll go now," Linx muttered, turning to leave. There was no further reason to stay, and he was in no mood to just chat with Aldar.

Aldar sat in disbelief that he was asleep for a week. He then noticed Linx. "Linx... he'll be ok... I know it... I didnt...save him for nothing you know." Aldar stared at the now leaving Linx. "He'll be fine."

"Great." With that, Linx walked out. Maybe he'd check back in a day or something...

"Aldar looked at Linx regretfully. He could tell Linx wasnt happy, and did he doubt that Ellich would live? Impossible... he had to.

Almost exactly 24 hours later, Linx returned with a far less expectant outlook. He planned to walk in, see neither of them awake and just leave, but something in him was screaming otherwise.

Ellich lay motionless on his bed, awake, but in deep thought. On the other hand Aldar was asleep, Aldar still was recovering from what had happened a week ago.

Linx's eyes locked onto Ellich's and any thought of leaving evaporated. He approached the squirrel slowly, not wanting to disturb him. "Hey. Ellich. I'm here."

"Ellich looked at Linx for a moment before saying. "I told you I'd end up coming home..." Ellich's face still seemed emotionless.
