Wolfsbane caught Linx looking at hm with a stare that spelled be careful with that. He'd recieved that look from his father when he was given the weapons that he currently wielded, and whenever he was taught how to use a weapon by a veteran. Wolfsbane cautiously put down the flame throwers back in the rack, and just gave the fire breather a studious look. When he was done, he turned to Linx.
"Sah, h'I would be honored h'if you would give me the privilege h'of teaching me the h'usage h'of the jolly weaponry of h'Otter's Fort, sah!", said Wolfsbane with a snappy salute. He had drifted into the curious harespeech without even noticing. Traveling for most of his life gave him an innate talent with languages and speech.

OOC: Fire thrower. ...Everyone mixes that up.
BIC: "Well, I'd be honored if you don't act like one of our big-eared friends down the coast," Linx shot back. Apparently, Wolfsbane's innate talent happened to exclude a voluntary control thereof. All this did was grate on Linx's nerves; he'd spent so many years of his life at the fort that any other accent was 'foreign', even though he was technically foreign to the fort himself. "You're definitely covering this in basic training, and to be honest, I don't want to have to waste any ordnance on showing you how it fires right now. Nor do I want to torch the armory."
OOC: I know, short...

Wolfsbane's expression was apologetic. He hesitated for a second before responding.
"Sorry, about that sir. I'll try to control it in your presence. Thank you for your help."
OoC: How do I get basic training?

OOC: What do you mean?
BIC: "No problem. I suggest you head to the barracks now, there's probably something you can do there... I'll try and keep you posted on the scheduling from here on in." It looked like Linx had his work cut out for him. It also looked like Wolfsbane was preparing to leave the armory.
