Linx simply stood. He was actually used to this... Maybe not this length but it was in his training to practice running. "Eh. Worth it." Actually, his chest was aflame, but it wasn't worth mentioning that.

Aldar was no doctor but he made sure Linx's system was running right. He watched his breathing and how his posture was. Linx looked really tired, and Aldar knew he wouldnt admit it, even he was, and Aldar had all of his blood! He figured about another half an hour before Linx needed a big break. "Alright lets go then."

"So be it..." Linx resumed running again. The burning feeling returned in full force, compelling him to just collapse... But he steeled through it well enough.

After about another twenty minutes of running Aldar could tell Linx's body was starting to shut down if he didnt get rest. "Linx lets stop here. Get some water there is a stream that way. This is going to be a larger break ok?"

"B..." He was about to say something about how he had to keep running... But he knew he had to stop. Linx frowned and looked at Aldar, trying to ignore the white-hot claws ripping his heart apart. "All right."

"Alright." Aldar slowed down to a walk then stopped. "Come on the water's this way we can fill up." Aldar started walking off the path with Linx following him.

Linx barely made it to the bank of the rapids before falling onto his knees. His heart beat at his ribs like a chorus of sledgehammers and refused to slow down, and his breathing was simply beyond his control. There was barely enough coordination in him to get some water to drink and refill his water skin.

After many stops later and about 8 hours of traveling Aldar was exausted. "Woo.... hey do you here somthing mate? I think that might be Ellich." Aldar heard footsteps in the distince in front of him. He stopped to listen better. Ellich had heard them too and decided to hide. He got ready to pounce if he had to.

Linx put his jacket back on and drew his CLOS, immediately tossing aside the pain already in him. Smells like Ellich. Yup. Let's do this. He didn't bother to listen further, walking ahead with his CLOS held under his jacket to help conceal it from a distance.

Aldar decided to call out. "Come out you bugger!" The forest was silent for a while. Ellich had to think of who it was. It wasnt vermin so he decided to come out. "Linx?"

"I ran the entire way here for you, Ellich," Linx stated loudly enough to be heard over the distance.

"Linx.... you shouldnt have followed me here." Aldar responded with a grunt of anger, and decided to walk in the direction of th squirrels voice. "Oh so you think that his is a good time to tell us mate eh?" Aldar spoke louder than usual, after all he was a bit mad that he had to run for eight hours to find out that he shouldnt have.

"You're right, Ellich, I shouldn't have followed you out here. I shouldn't have had to, because you shouldn't have just run off like that." Linx wasn't particularly pleased himself. He let his CLOS paw out from under his jacket, holding it loosely at his side. "But here I am, and here you are. You know what happens now."

"That was stupid of you..... what are you doing? I told you I would be back! You Aldar why did you even follow me?!?!" Ellich was mad that Linx still didnt listen to him. Aldar just got more mad. "You are coming back if I have to drag you. I take it you dont understand right?" Aldar kept walking closer to Ellich.

"It was stupid of you to leave. I am sick and tired of your running away and as much as I love you I'm gonna have to put my footpaw down on this. ...Aldar just followed me for kicks, I followed you to get you back where we can have a relationship." If he had to, he'd put one in Ellich's knee, but he hoped he wouldn't have to do that. Hopefully, Ellich would stop being so... Crazy. In the annoying way.
