Dengoro's newer attire really did match his natural appearance. Having gotten quite the income from support back from Linx, he was ready to look truly imposing, even if a bit more subtly than the famous mouse magnate's typical appearance. His black coat had two layers of cloth, the outside being black but the inside being white, and it seemed that his loose, comfortable pants followed a similar doctrine. The boots over his recently damaged footpaws looked like they could crush a beast's skull on their own, although they were actually rather comfortable.
His coat was actually rather light and thin, and hugged closely to his shockingly thin frame as he weaved through the village aimlessly. All he was doing was taking a walk, but it looked like he was looking for something, the way he was walking. Perhaps it was the bottle of amber fluid tucked into his coat pocket that he was protecting with one paw over the noticeable bulge in the side of his garb.

Lore was walking around the village, looking a bit scruffy from her wanderings, but she was totally unconcerned with her appearance. She wanted to find Linx's shop, just to see what new offerings he had in stock. Even so, she knew she couldn't afford any of it, but there was no harm in looking.
Grinning to herself, Lore started walking faster, as she assumed that Linx's shop was somewhere close. However, her progress was abruptly stopped as she had crashed into someone, sending her staggering backwards. She managed to catch herself, and she looked closer at who she had walked into. He appeared to be eccentric, judging from his attire, and he was a skunk. That was a creature she didn't see very often. She smiled kind of bashfully, and apologized. "I'm sorry about that."

Dengoro was too stunned by the fact that someone had just walked into him to respond immediately. It wasn't often that he made a head-on collision with anyone, but in this case he just backed up a few steps and stared at Lore with eyes that were full of pain and confusion regardless of the situation. Of course, they fit in this situation, and served to communicate something as he searched for words.
At least he didn't feel too small for his coat or anything. ...Because his coat was small. It took a while for the skunk to find something to say, and once he did, it came out sounding numb and emotionless. In truth, he was simply too bewildered and hurt by the fact that someone had just crashed into him to put any feeling into his words. "I don't like walking into beasts."

I don't like walking into beasts? What an odd thing to say. Lore shrugged and apologized again. "Are you going to be all right?" She forced herself to sound normal, in spite of the fact that she was blushing. Clearly, her excitement had gotten the better of her, and now she was confronted with this awkward scene. "I don't like walking into beasts either.." That was kind of a given, but it was all she could think of.

It appeared that this one agreed with him. Unsure of where to take the conversation that had been rudely thrust into his paws, Dengoro stared dumbly at Lore while he tried desperately to think of something to say. All he could think of was the fact that at her speed she'd knocked the wind out of him. I just wanted to say... I... No! Think! Obviously, his conscious thought was being far from cooperative at the time. "Well, I... Where are you going? You're running somewhere?"

"I'm looking for Linx, actually. I'm assuming his store is somewhere near here." Lore looked around, but she didn't spot anything familiar. Maybe this Dengoro would know where to find him. Although, now that she thought about it, she really had no reason to meet with him. Unless, of course, you counted an interest in his weapons.

"Uh... What? His store?" Dengoro stared at Lore blankly. He had only seen the shop once in his entire life and, when asked of its location, lacked an answer. All he knew about it was its distinctive, red-on-black sign, which was more or less useless in finding it. Why did you have to ask me that?... "Linx's store? I don't know where... That is..."

"You don't know where it is?" Lore was mildly disappointed, and she thought about just giving up the search. It wasn't Dengoro's fault; she should have been better prepared before going off and trying something like this. She smiled reassuringly and said, "Thank you for the help anyway. I'll just try again another day."
