OOC: Did I grab your attention with the title? Well, it's a lie.
BIC: Mokwa may as well have been dead for the next month. He had decided to pay his old kin down at his seaside village a visit in the name of helping to recover from the attack made on him not that long before; the time spent there was to be about a month. Having secured a voyage on a transport ship with Linx's permission and funding, he was to go down there, spend approximately four weeks with his kind, and return with a hopefully unchanged accent.
He was now about to board the ship, which was bobbing merrily in the dock. Clearly, Linx had chosen the best of the best for him, which was an added luxury considering the time of year and no need for warmth. Stepping up onto the pier, the monitor had no doubt in his mind of what he was going to do next.

*Kade, as he was prone to do when bored, was wandering around. He found himself heading for the docks for some reason and was a bit surprised by what was to be found. He spotted Mokwa stepping onto the pier, apparently heading for a ship that was apparently taking off soon. Trying to work on his social skills, as Seria kept urging him to do, he decided to try and talk to him.* "Uh, hey Mokwa. Going somewhere?"

"What, you didn't hear?" Mokwa, surprised to see Kade in the first place, stepped down from the pier promptly. The ship wasn't leaving for a while and it wasn't like he had to get accommodated for a voyage that was to be any longer than a day, so he was content to just talk and explain his situation first. "I'm... Leaving... For about a month. You really didn't hear this, Kade? I'm going back to my village!" He was dressed in fort clothing; gray, short-sleeved shirt, low-cut black shorts and sandals made him look nothing like he used to. It'd be a shock upon arrival.

*Kade was more than a bit surprised to here that news. He was less than a bit surprised, however, that he hadn't heard it sooner.* "Really? Well, hope that goes well for you... yeah, I hadn't heard you were leaving. Nobody around the house seems to pass on information too me. Guess they don't think I need to know or something."

"I know Seria doesn't know, she's at school, and... Ellich doesn't know, and Gore doesn't know. By the time they do, I'll be long gone. Well, a walking distance down the shore, I'm just taking boat because I had to walk the way here and don't want to have to take the beach path by footpaw again." It simply contained some bad memories. Mokwa ended his statement with an apathetic shrug. Kade didn't get informed fast because he was out walking all the time.

"Ok." *Kade said, nodding slowly. He wasn't one to judge other beasts on matters such as that so, well, he didn't. He just figured that that was what Mokwa wanted so that was what Mokwa did. End of story. He wasn't sure what else to say at this point, sadly... he still needed to work on that.*

"Well, look, they're... They're going soon. And I need to get situated on board, so... I'm saying bye now, Kade... Bye. I'll see you before the summer's up, well before," Mokwa promised. When he made a promise, whether he said it was one or not, he kept it to the best of his ability. He'd just put a time limit on his visit and he knew it.

"M'kay. See you when you get back." *Kade said with a smile. Surprisingly enough, Kade hadn't had to force the smile. This was a big change from last time he had talked with Mokwa. Last time he'd been so scared he could barely speak. Thankfully he'd been getting over that kind of stuff as of late.*

"Yep... See you when I see you," Mokwa murmured before heading back out onto the pier and deftly stepping across the gangplank onto the transport. The voyage was short and he was being dropped off at the first stop of a long chain down the coast. He'd be with beasts he once knew, who would welcome him with open arms. Little did they know how little he had left in him that belonged to them.
