Captain Vengo Chaon
Male Wildcat
Rank- Land Warrior
Description: Captain Chaon is a stout yellow-brown wildcat with a coat of fur that is oddly consistent in color, with no stripes or spots to speak of. He is muscular to the point of sheer bulkiness, very fast-moving although seldom for an extended period of time, and the vast majority of his left paw is missing. He has had a steel machete-like single-edged blade attached where it would have been.
Personality: Even for a wildcat, Captain Chaon is very ambitious. After figuring out how boosting massive killings were to his credit he began to work as hard as he could to ensure that as many as possible happened under his control. Now at a Captain position he can't get any higher with Veil Deathmark still in command and his energies have gone nowhere to boost himself higher or even win him a decent horde. Left frustrated with this small warband partially under his control--- Under a wildcat's control--- Vengo Chaon looks to succeed Veil, who he is revolted by the outlook and tactics of, and eventually go far beyond his current leader's goals. As far as treating inferiors goes, though, Chaon is surprisingly lenient and compassionate towards his soldiers, almost treating them as if they were his children although it doesn't seem to faze him if they start dropping like flies.
History: Vengo Chaon was raised as a soldier from birth in hopes that it would make him a better warlord. His parents died in battle while he was relatively young, and he was left to fend for himself among a backwater team of bandits. This team raised him to be a very callous and brutal fighter until the rest of them lost their lives and he lost his paw, the result of a violent encounter with the Long Patrol. Severely weakened by this wound, it was only by luck that in just hours he was found and assimilated into Veil Deathmark's forces. It was at this time that he had a blade attached over the stump of his paw, which had only one remaining digit--- His thumb--- and it had been cut off just below the claw. A wildcat didn't remain a no-ranker in a group this small for long.
Abilities: Unable to complete many tasks involving dexterity himself, Captain Chaon does, however, recognize the importance of complex technology on the battlefield as it begins to evolve. He is a decent shot with a crossbow, although at a loss at how to reload one, and excels with bladed weapons in melee combat. As far as actual paw-to-paw, Chaon never fights with no weapons at all as of late due to his blade extension so he wouldn't know.
