Character Name: Nothusa Hayato Gender: Male Species: Otter Age: 17 Rank: Warrior Weapons: Blade staff, shurikens, wakazashi Physical Description: Of a medium build, he wears well fitting, light, and airy clothing, usually black, he varies the colors occasionally. The staff he owns is fitted with razors on the ending. a metal point protrudes from the tip where the razors leave off, making a spear-like weapon. He throws strange objects called shurikens, the which are like stars of metal, incredibly light, he has mastered the skill of their curve and can throw rather impressively. The downside to this is that he has very little skill in archery. He carries with him a dagger-like knife called a wakazashi. His greyish-black fur blends him well with most areas. he wears a pendant with the appearance of a falcon with outspred wings. Personality: He is dark, yet, when opened up, he makes a firm friend. Can be easily annoyed, yet is, for the most part, rather reasonable. (I might expand this later..) History: From the far east, he brings some of his culture with him, shurikens, for one, wakazashi for another. His very clothing reflects some of his past and culture. He heard news of a stronghold and hoped of finding good companionship, for his past is no laughing matter.(to be expanded gradually.)

Why not? The surikens are throwing blades, not machine guns; they would fit in fine if you ask me..
Anyway, part of his history *spoiler* is that he has strong eastern influence.

Where IS the east though? See the problem? it just doesn't work, there wasn't a China... or an asian culture

There are Scots up north, there are Brits in the center and west, And is there any England or Scotland? I think not. Besides, they're not some n00bing excuse for a godmod like a photon canon or anything.

Well, we could try throwing Daggers, with improved shape and handling to make the curve if thrown right or something... They DID have daggers.
Welcome Nothusa Hayato!

Try? Who says I'm trying to change a perfectly good weapon. What qualifications does it break? Medieval? Realistic? What? Why should I dispose of a good weapon?

It's just never been allowed, I guess if you can explain it away, feel free too, it's not a big deal. Augh, I have so much homework, and several posts to make. My life is too busy...
CURSE YOU SCHOOL!!

haha!
I was just suggesting a compromise, I wasn't forcing you to it... but seriously, that last one did come off a little rude, Nothusa...

I'm sorry if certain feelings come off as rude, but I was only defending legitimacy.

It is possible to defend your point in a way that expresses both passion, and without attacking others.
