Needs a little healing.

Choppre slowly limped up the riverbed, silently cursing his bad luck. His previous nights supper was a fish that bit back. And he does a sloppy job at patching up his wounds. Taking a short break, he looked at the road and the fort beyond it. Reluctant to go toward the fort, he looked at his leg and realized it needed real treatment. He silently limped on, hoping that he would be healed and could leave before something happened.

Trilion eyed the grey rat slowly making his way into the village surrounding the fort. He watched as other creatures spat in his direction and made shrewd remarks towards him. He was suspicious at first, but noticed the bandage on his leg and realized that the rat needed help. He walked over as the rat stumbled for a second. "Ho there." Trilion called to him. "Easy there, you might hurt yourself more. Let me help you to the sickbay inside."

[thaddius]

Thaddius stood by the gate and saw to figures limping up to the fort. He noticed one looked like a rat the other a badger," odd" he thought aloud, "I should go check it out they look injured."
Thaddius walked over to the strange pair with a hand resting relaxed on his daggers hilt. "can I help you?" he asked while looking them both over.

[Terg Broadsword]

Terg sat outside the tavern an empty tankard that had once held October Ale in his paw. He wiped his mouth on the back of his paw and tirled the tankard by the handle. The big otter rose and discarded the tankard on a table where he knew it would be picked up. He hfted his broadsword back over his shoulder and began to make his way to no where in particular.

His paws carried him toward the gate where he saw the large form of his old friend Thaddius. There where two others also, and he quickened his pace so he could get a better look at them.

Choppre allowed himself to be helped by the kind badger. He turned as another creature asked something he didnt quite catch. Trilion replied for him. "My friend has an injured leg, we need to go inside and get it patched up."

[Justyn]

Justyn kicked the tavern doors out, and swayed out side, eyes unconcentrated, not really caring who was hearing him yell off-key. At the sight of the rat, he blinked and stopped his weird warbling. Slowly he stumbled up to the rat, and with about three inches between faces slured, "iss a ratz... heh heh..."

[Terg Broadsword]

OOC: Please no drunk beasts if that's what you where implying Justyn.

BIC: Terg broke into a slow jog and moved more quickly toward the group of beasts. Everyone seemed to be interested in the new-commer so why shouldn't he be? His paws carried him to Justyn's side. He pulled his friend back gently by the shoulder to allow the rat some space. "Personal space Justyn. We've gotta guest." When he looked at the 'guest' though he was less willing to be polite.

A rat? We can't let a rat just waltz into the fort, even if he is injured.

Terg stared challengingly at the rat. "Why are you comin here, rat?" He layed the enfisis on the last word, making it sound like a bad word.

OOC: Pardon the hostility.

OOC:hostility makes things interesting.

Choppre gave Terg a sharp glance followed by a wide grin. "I just need a little healing. My dinner took a good chunk out of my leg, and I dont do well at patching wounds." He looked at the others around him. "And maybe buy a few goods from the market. If you'll allow a rat like me some hospitality, that is."

[Justyn]

Justyn straightened, "sure thing Terg, was just havin' a bit of fun tonight." He chuckled, "Though, this rat's not really makin' a good first impression either." He turned to Choppre," Eh, sorry didn't catch your name."

OOC: a quirk of Justyn's likes to act drunk, but isn't he likes to see the variety of expressions he gets from other beasts from time to time. (In fact, he doesn't drink at all)

Choppre looked at Justyn. "My name is Choppre. Im a wanderer."

OOC: so he likes to mess around sometimes.

[Terg Broadsword]

OOC: Kinda funny, just don't get carried away. I like the idea though. I have some friends who do that.

BIC: Terg forced a civil look onto his face but was grimacing on the inside.

"I just need a little healing. My dinner took a good chunk out of my leg, and I dont do well at patching wounds."

Terg dared not think about what this dinner could have been. Vermin where given to eating a wide variety of things.
"Well... Choppre, we can show you to the infirmary where our physicians will take care of you. As for the market you're welcome to buy whatever you want as long as you can pay for it and if the shopowners will do business with you."

Choppre smiled at Terg. "My thanks, sir. Jut a stroll through the infirmary and a glance at the market and I'll be out of your hair."

Trilion, who had been helping the injured rat, took Terg aside. "If I may, this rat is just looking for a little help. Even though he is an outsider doesn't make him a threat." He shot a quick glance at Choppre, then looked back at Terg. "We should be more worried about him than his history. I looked at the wound on his leg. It could become infected soon, so he needs treatment now. Bot dont worry, I will never leave his side just in case."

[Justyn]

Justyn's head popped up behind Trilion's, "You have an excellent point, my badger friend," he said in an equal tone as his paw drifted to his chin, "but, to be on the safe side, I recommend you learn everything you can about him while you watch our new arrival. I could do a bit of patch work now to prevent infection, and to slow bleedin' and such so he can make it to the infirmary though if you want Trilion," Justyn paused for a second, "He's your charge Trilion."

thaddius put his hand on Justyn's shoulder "I want in the circle!" thaddius used his hand justyn's shoulder to further his leap to land sitting ontop of justyn shoulders. "Ok so yeah expect the worst hope for the best right mates!" Thaddius said with a wink
