Ships:
Bloodtide: This is Xorab's pride and joy. A large warship four decks she is a beauty. On each side the ships had 20 cannons, five per deck. The crews quarters are near the canons so they can be roused and fighting at a moments notice.
The headpiece of this ship is the large drill on the bow that serves as the figurehead and a weapon. Via a complex system of ropes and pulleys this massive ram can be raised and lowered to accommodate the different heights of ships. It also has a crank that can be turned by one very strong or several beasts. The current "Ram master" is a huge blind rat named Daeth. He has extra sharp hearing to make up for his blindness, that enable him to hear commands roared across the ship.
But a bowsprit is essential to a ship since several sails are attached to it. Beacuase this giant screw makes it rather hard for a bow sprit to be mounted on the bow, it is mounted on the fore most mast. Because of it's placement it was easy to make the bowsprit turnable, enabling very sharp turns.
The bottom of the ship is divided into three sections that can be completely cut off from one another, so if one section begins to take on water, the rest of them don't and the ship can still stay afloat.
The tallest mast or main mast of the ship is collapsible enabling the ship to sneak up on the sea shore easier, without being seen. Though it is collapsible it is very strong.
Hunter: This ship is usually used more for carrying loot and cargo, rather than for fighting. It is almost as fast as the Bloodtide but not really equipped for battle. It has 10 cannons on each side, and has badger's skull for a figure head. The hold is desinged the same as the Bloodtide's though, in the way that it is divided into three sections, which can be totally closed off to avoid excessive water leakage.
