As many of you may have noticed, spam control has not been very active recently. This is about to change and so I thought I'd best give you all a heads up on what shall be considered spam.
- Any OOC remark in an RP thread that does not also contain RPing. Please use the PM system for this. It works with the same, if not better, efficiency.
- Any post in a roleplay that is only a few words long and does nothing to add to the story. This would include a post that merely says: Ronin walked in, saw Linx and asked "What's up?"
- Currently, spam in the OOC game boards and such is allowed. However, if you are adding to a discussion about fort business or policies, please do not post one word posts if it does not add to the discussion.
Consequences:
-First time: warning
-Second time: warning
-Third time: warning plus removal of posts from your post count
-Fourth time: If, at this stage, you have been blatantly ignoring spam warnings from me, you will get posts from you post count removed and you may be banned for a week.
-Fifth time: We really don't expect anyone to reach this point, but if they do, what happens will be decided on a case by case basis by Finnerator.
None of this will actually go into effect for a few days just so you can get used to the idea.
