*Kade was on wall top duty... again... he seemed to get that alot ever since coming to the fort. His shift was almost finished and usually Dantin would be waiting for him but not today. Dantin hadn't really gone into much detail about why he couldn't be there today so Kade was left in the dark. Finally, his replacement came up and he gladly started walking away but stopped to think about what he was going to do now. He didn't really have alot of alone time experience around the fort... which meant he was most likely going to be heading back to his room. He was just standing there, thinking, probably looking pretty stupid.*

*The white hare who had come up to replace Kade looked back at the mouse as he stood there.* Watcha waiting fur ol' chap? Probably don't 'ave anything to do but spar, and sleep and eat and spar and sleep and stand on guard and sleep and spar... *The galourus hare went on with his long list as he leaned against the battlements. He was quite young but he still had a large vocabulary.* ...And sleep and go on patrol. I say why don't you go on a patrol of the woods? Maybe you could find some vermin, and then you could box 'em. I dearly do like boxin'. I'm quite good at it too. Do yeh know I once won the champion boxin' award at Salamandastron.. *The hare began to rattle off enough words to drive any beast crazy.*

*Dantin hadn't been expecting to actually be talked to and expecially not from someone he didn't know. He was going to answer this hare at some point but he wouldn't stop talking. Eventually, to get a word in, he was forced to reach out and cover the hares mouths with his paw.* "Can I get a word in?" *He didn't wait for an answer.* "No, I don't have anything to do, which is way I was standing there, thinking." *He uncovered the hares mouth at this point.* "So, whats your name?"

A large ferret watched the mouse and hare from the corner of the north and west walls. Hares seemed like follish creaturs with their ceasless gabbing and nonstop joking. They where good fighters though. Karuas (for it was him) wished he had an army of fighting hares. They could conquer this fort within the week. The only downfall was that hares believed in honor and all that junk.
As for mice they where fair fighters. There where some good ones at the abbey of Redwall, but like hares the where to goody goody for their own good. Karuas mutch prefered stoats and foxes. Foxes where cunning and stoats skilled in the art of killing.
Well never mind what kind of army he wanted. He planned find an easy way into this fort without a great army. He would bide his time though and wait for the otters and other animals to get carelss and let down their gaurd then strike. Well this thinking wouldn't do anything so Karuas tried to edge closer to the two beast that where talking to see if he could hear anything.

OOC: Killing isn't even an art! Look at my signature! (And Linx isn't that goody goody...)
BIC: "You know, if you want to know what they're saying, it's easier to ask than eavesdrop," Linx muttered from directly behind Karaus. "Especially when you're on a walltop, of all places. You can do better than that." He hadn't ever really liked ferrets, mainly from their reputation, and did his best to remain impartial. However, this... This ferret wasn't setting a good example for his kind. There was a reason that beasts like him never got any influence in the fort.
There wasn't much to be found in two chatting beasts on wall duty, anyway. Linx didn't move from behind Karaus but instead continued to speak into the ferret's ear from behind. More intimidating that way. "Now," the muscular mouse muttered, "I think it'd be best if you made some wise choices about what you do right now."

*Kade smiled at Tormik* "Er, sorry, my names Kade. No last name to speak of." *Dantin thought he saw movement out at the edge of the woodlands, he peered out there but couldn't really see much. He thought maybe he'd just imagined it...*
