It was raining, and quite chilly at that. Cressida was fully equipped for her long journey. She was wearing her green and red dress with her family's symbol on the front. Over her dress she wore a pitch-black cloak with a hood to keep the rain out. She had her sword in its sheath tied around her waist. She had her pack filled with food and supplies to light a fire and all the other necessities. Her eyes seem to be filled with longing and when you looked into them all you could see were holes of black, her usual happiness was gone. She was on a quest.
She had already left the Fort, and had taken her first step into what looked like the 'never-ending' forest.

Aldar had decided to stop at Cressida's. He then found that No one was home. "Thats odd." Aldar tried around other places in the fort until reaching a large otter who had spotted her leaving during wall duty. Aldar quickly gathered some things in a bag and grabbed his sword and bolt repeater. "What are you up to now?" Aldar franticly ran out the gates as soon as they were open and started running down the path. Aldars usual clothing was on, as well as a black long jacket. After running for about thirty minutes he saw someone up on the trail. To be sure he walked off trail and stayed hidden in the rain. He didn't know whether it was Cressida, or some crazy vermin. Aldar slowly krept forward trying his hardest not to be seen. He was glad he went through stealth training.

Cressida heard a crack, someone had stepped on a branch. She turned around, her sword in paw. "Show yourself!" Cressida demanded to whoever was out there.

Cressida's voice. "It's me. Aldar. Why'd you run off like that?" Aldar kept hidden in a pretty good spot. He couldnt see her on the trail, therefore most likely she couldn't see him.

"Show yourself!" Cressida demanded again, she had no way of being sure it was Aldar.

"Lets put it this way. How would I know you ran away from Otter's fort without telling me if I wasnt Aldar?" Aldar thought it best to stay hidden just to know what kind of mental situation she was in. The last thing he wanted was another Ellich event.

Cressida sheathed her sword. "Hmm well I guess you are right." She hadn't seen Aldar since a couple of days ago, and really wanted to see his face again.

"Good. Now whats up?" Aldar slowly walked away from his hiding spot, which was directly be hind her at the moment. Now he was directly behind Cressida, but didnt want to startle her so made noise once he was a couple of paces away.

Cressida turned around hearing his foot steps, standing in front of her was Aldar. She ran up to him, dropping her bag and hugged him tightly. When she released she began to explain. "I'm going to look for my brother. It's not safe for me to be around such peaceful animals...not with my 'problems'." She said hoping that Aldar would understand where she was coming from.

"Peaceful animals... Truely is any one fighter to be considered that way?" Aldar lowered his hood revealing his face and head to the rain. "Next time tell me ok? Really you had my worried. But," Aldar unsheathed his sword. "If its a quest you are on, I'm with you all the way!" Aldar grew a grin on his face. "Nice to see you again."

Cressida grinned back. This surely was the Aldar she knew. "Nice to see you too." She said walking past him with a smirk. She picked up her pack and turned around to face Aldar. "You sure you are ready for such a trip?" She asked with the smirk remaining on her face.

"As I will ever be." Aldar sheathed his sword and walked back up to Cressida. "So, where do you think your brother is?" Aldar looked around. The rain was coming to a light drizzle again.

Cressida smiled and started to walk. "Well he has to be somewhere in this forest...probably back at our old hut that he and myself made with our bare paws." She said with the smile remaining on her face. "It shouldn't take that long to find him."

"Geez how similar could it we get? I made a hut too to live in for a while. Still go camping in it too." Aldar continued down the muddy path, and returned the hood to the top of his head. "So tell me.. why would he still be there if you moved to the fort?"

"He cherishes memories, he'll never give something up. He's the one that sent me here to the Fort in the first place, he said it was 'for my own safety'." She giggled a little at her own remark, "If he could only see me now..." She said with a smile.
