"I am," she answered simply to Cressida's comment about her skill with the bow. She never saw any point in false modesty. She had spent more than half her life using her bow, and she was darn proud of it!
A sword, however, was a completely different matter. "I'd love for you to help!" she said enthusiastically. "I've never even held a sword."

"Are you serious?!? Swords changed my life, without them I have no idea what my world would be like." Cressida said with a smile "I'll have to get to work right away after breakfast then!"

"Yup, serious. All I have is my bow, and these," Briala answered, pulling one of her daggers out of it's sheath. It had taken a full 24 hours to make one of the curved daggers, but it was worth it. The weapon was strong and light, with a razor sharp edge. The hilt was wrapped with a tarnished green viper; very unusual for a woodland animal. Briala didn't think anyone would care about the story that went with it, so she kept her mouth shut.
"I've been using my daggers the same amount as my bow, but I've never used any other weapon," Briala said regretfully, hating her limitations. "After breakfast is good, as long as I get my full meal first!" she laughed, finishing off her apple.

"I've never tried to double-wield before, It's probably a lot faster than using just one sword, but there are still some disadvantages to it." Cressida said with a smile "We'll get right to work after we are done eating then!" Cressida said with the smile growing on her face.

Briala nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I couldn't imagine trying to double wield swords! They're way too heavy. But my daggers are okay. They go together well." It was kind of hard to explain, but Briala only felt half there where she fought with only one dagger. A bit strange, but true.
"After breakfast then!" she laughed, grabbing a bit of bread and smearing it with honey. "I can't wait!"
