OOC: Ok, this is gonna skip a bunch of time, cuz it will be a long trip, as we are going far north, we will RP the gathering and leaving, but then we will skip till we get to where I plan ok? This will be a bit like a survival trip, only bring weapons ok? No food, bring cloaks.
IC: Fishrudder strode out to the cliff that fell down to the ocean, not far beneath him was the roaring Mossflower River, the noise from the ocean pounding into the rocks vibrated through the air. He was clad in an old shirt that he had come to Otter's Fort in.
In his hand was his old sword, slightly refurbished. Raiden had fixed it up for him, though all he had done was strengthen it a bit. The sheath was on his hip and his single dagger on his waist and his Great Bow slung across his back. The quiver was on his waist, as usual. In his other paw was an otter javelin. Double-sided, of course. He almost never used it, but figured it might come in handy.
Aral glanced around. The sun was just starting to rise, the rays of the sun were brilliant on the Great Western Sea. He had his assassin's belt on him, he just had to bring it. He didn't know why. He had an old black robe on, and a cloak in his back, in a roll and strapped around his arms. He was armed lightly, with a sling and his twin daggers, which he strangely named Death and Reaper.

Aldar walked up One and a Half sword in hand along with his Repeater on his back. Aldar had a stern face. He didnt know how long they were to be gone, and in a way regreted to go. "Hey..."

Archon was all by himself for this trip. That meant no Linx, as his mate was busy with... Something else. He didn't carry his waterproofed cloak on him but rather in his light pack, seeing as it wasn't raining or anything at the time. All items on him that could be perceived as weapons consisted of a stepped sword, bolt repeater and simple, recently assembled hatchet, which he kept on him now for cutting wood. Smaller blades didn't count in his book... Although they certainly were weapons, he didn't plan to use them in any fights they might be having.
As he walked along the path that led his footpaws along the side of the estuary, he wondered how they'd be crossing the River Moss. Perhaps they'd be borrowing a ship... Hopefully not swimming, he only had one change of clothing stored... And Fishrudder was ahead.

As usual Sinthin was trailing Archon, they had become good friends over the few weeks Sinthin had been there. He was dressed even lighter then Archon, only having his twin dirks and his light brown shirt and belt. And an old worn cloak on his back. He had no clue what they were doing, he was just following Archon.

Eventually, Archon realized he was being followed. He turned around to see Sinthin directly behind him. "Whoa-! Sinthin! You're coming on the trip, too?" Hopefully he was. Archon didn't take well to having beasts following him throughout the wilderness without his knowing.

"Hey all! You guys ready?" Aldar turned around to see Archon and Sinthin. Aldar was a bit anxious to just go already.

"Uh, I'm ready, I dunno how we're crossing the river, though. All I heard was, survival trip, going north, should be less than a week long. I prepared accordingly. ...Oh, and, as I was told, bring a cloak." Archon paused and thought about that for a moment. "Who brings a cloak north?"

*Dantin jogged up, he had a cloak and his traveling tunic on. His battle sword was strapped to his back in it's sheath and a bolt repeater also strapped to his back in the other direction, forming a kind of criss cross. Besides those, the only weapon he had was a dagger stuck in a strap on the inside of his tunic that was made just for that reason. He stopped when he reached all the other beasts standing around. He was breathing mildly heavy, he had almost forgoten that they where going and had to make a run for it to get there in time.* "Whew, am I- late? Had to make- a mad dash over- here..."

"I don't think 'late' applies here... Uh, we're all over here but Fishrudder is off posing by that cliff so we can all see how strikingly handsome he is, so we'd better go annoy him until he lets us set off." Archon nodded to Dantin and then glanced at Fishrudder as he spoke. "I figure we have as many beasts as we'll be getting."

**Fishrudder turned around and chuckled, he said to Archon.** Ya, right, like I do that so much. Anyway, you want to know how we are going to cross the river? Simple, follow me. I guess all of you are ready?

"Yes! I am ready to wade through the half-frozen, all-consuming water. Lead on!" Archon bled sarcasm, as usual. He hadn't a trace of Linx's fear of superiors. All he cared about was getting his point across, and it wasn't like he had broken any rules or anything. IS there a rule against being sarcastic to your officer? If so, why haven't I heard about it?

OOC: heh BIC: Once again Fishrudder chuckled, but instead of him responding, Aral responded** We won't wade. There's a few small ferry boats not far down the river.

"We're at the estuary. When you say down, do you mean up?" Although that sounded a bit odd when he said it, Archon felt it was a valid question. They were practically at the mouth of the river already. The only real distance they had was towards the wetlands, not the ocean. Ferry boats... How impractical. We could have a bridge, but then no other boats could pass through. What if we had a sunken bridge at a choke point, so it wouldn't be too long but could be without supports save those on the shore? Made of logs... Coated in metal plating so they're too heavy to float. And they lie slack on the river floor, but either end is attached to the shore and one end can be pulled back so the bridge is drawn taut and thus up to the surface. THAT would be cool.

**Archon was as bad as Linx, some details didn't really matter, and that was one of them.
They headed towards the ferry boats, there were four ferry boats, which could take two animals each. Fishrudder signaled for everyone to get in one, and followed his own order.**

Archon clambered into one of the boats and waited for someone to get in after him... Preferably Sinthin. The contents of the boat consisted of two pairs of oars, one of which Archon moved to and placed his paws on. He could push the boat off the shore with the force of the oars alone if he had to.
