**Carrying a shovel, a parchment, and, as usual, her weapons, Seor walked across the shores of the sea. The otter loved the feeling of the sand underneath her, as it was very soft. If she was to imagine walking on clouds, Seor would have thought that walking on the sand was a feeling that was close enough.
Averting her eyes from the sun that was beaming down in front of her, the otter looked for a place to rest. Seeing a boulder in the distance, she decided to go there, as it would also provide shade. Jogging slowly, Seor was panting a little when she reached her destination. The otter hadn't realised that the boulder had been so far away; it seemed only a short distance from where she was standing before.
Setting the shovel down, Seor scanned the horizon. It was much easier to see while standing in the shade, for the sun couldn't easily tease her. To her left, was the almighty sea, and to her right-**
Boo! What ya doin', Seor?
**The otter knew who it was without turning to look.**
I was thinkin' that maybe a few of us could go and search for treasure, Verrie. I found this at the barracks, looks like a map t'me.
**Seor handed the parchment to her friend. Verrie scanned it, muttering to herself.**
Hmm... Aye, 'tis the shores, 'tis the bloomin' boulder we're standin' at.
Really?
Aye, look, see this dot? H'I'll wager 'tis the boulder here, and look, a few feet 'way, 'tis another.
**Seor looked in the direction that Verrie pointed at, and saw that she was right. Looking back at the map, she percieved that there was a dot several centimetres away from another, slightly larger than the first. Looking to her right, she saw a slightly smaller boulder than the one she was standing beneath.**
So, 'bout the bloomin' treasure hunt. Are ye gonna start yet?
It's goin' to be too borin' with just the three of us, and next time you and Verrie don't have to stalk me.
I wasn't stalkin' ye!
I never said you did.
Yea ye did!
**Seor shrugged.**
Who here has a loud and clear voice?
There's only one 'o us here who can surpass that.
H'Alright, don't ask me next time without sayin' a bloomin' please.
A bloomin' please.
Ha ha, very funny. Close yer ears, both of ye. ANYONE WANTIN' TO GO A TREASURE HUNTIN', O'ER HERE! O'ER HERE!
**Flinching, Ty smiled weakly.**
Wi' a voice like that, vermin from the lands 'o ice an' snow can hear that!
