You have probably noticed that there is no longer a joining board on Otter's Fort. You may also have learned that this is because there is a new joining form on the freewebs site. So, what do you think about it? If you haven't looked at it yet, the form is at www.freewebs.com/otterfort . Just click on Join Otter's Fort to see it.

It's good, but not very convenient, maybe both? Course, that would make the other one almost useless

Interesting. I thought it would be more convenient. Now there's no need to copy and paste the form and now people won't leave out important information when they join up.

Ya, maybe there is a proboards code that can make one of those, I saw one once, I'll do some digging and try and find one, would you use it though?

Go to the members list, everything is there

I'll still post the stuff on the members list. The difference is that it will be easier for me to get the information down correctly.

Sorry about the double post, but I have it <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- /* Posting Request Form/Template v2 by california ©2005 SoCal Codes, socal.proboards26.com */ var field = ['']; function addSingleInput(title, desc){field.push(['input', title, desc]);} function addDropdown(title, desc, opts){var other = (arguments[3]) ? arguments[3] : ''; field.push(['select', title, desc, opts.split('|'), other]);} function addTextarea(title, desc, rows){field.push(['textarea', title, desc, rows]);} /* Customize Below This Line */ var titleMessage = "Staff Application"; var subjectName = "Subject"; var subjectDescription = "This will be the subject of your thread. Make it relevant to your application."; var keepMessageIcon = "yes"; var columnWidths = ["24%", "38%", "38%"]; addSingleInput("Name", "Name of your character."); addSingleInput("Age", "In seasons"); addDropdown("Gender", "How much simpler can it get?.", "Male|Female"); addDropdown("What Number character?", "How many characters at OF do you have?.", "One|Two|Three|Four+"); addSingleInput("Weapons", "List the weapons, if any"); addDropdown("Desired Position", "What position do you want?.", "Warrior|Medic|Cook|Villager", "Other..."); addTextarea("Description", "What is your character's personality and looks?", "4"); addTextarea("History", "What has your character done in his life?.", "8"); /* Customize Above This Line */ if(document.postForm) document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.iycatacombs.com/socal/resources/scripts/postingformv2.js"></scr'+'ipt>'); // --> </script> Put that in the joining thread, under footers

Cool, I'll check it out and see how it works. It seems to me that it would do the same thing as the one I already have, wouldn't it?

It is, however, it's formatted for Proboards, and it would be on the proboards site, I don't know if it will work copying and pasting it, if not, I will have to reedit it and enter it myself if you would let me

I'm going to try using that proboards code since freewebs doesn't like me.

It's not too hard, all you have to do is put it in the header's and footers, I can do it, if you give me the powers for a minute
