Asia had made it to the Tavern without to many questions, just how she likes it. Once she entered she found the most secluded and shadowed corner of the dining area and took a seat. It was then that she unveiled her face by removing her hood, while the rest of her body remained a secret. But what could be seen was that she's indeed a female otter with foamy blue eyes and the blackest fur that one's ever seen. Her hair matched and was quite long and lustrous but as straight as a board.
Why was she here? Perhaps to start a new life, one that would be of her own choosing and not just because it was her parents lot in life and one that would be passed down to her. No she wanted to begin fresh, not that her parents weren't wonderful. That wasn't it at all. It was that she had wings and she wished to fly and to soar on her own, experience things that would cause her horizons to spread abroad.
What one could tell though? Even though she tried her hardest to hide it, was that she was innocent, a very feminine creature who lacks knowledge of evil. It wasn't that she hasn't seen bad but it was that she was very sheltered and protected from the wrongs committed by vermin that existed every where. Yes she’s seen the crimes carried out by them, which also instilled in her the will to stay on the side of good.
All of this though didn’t leave her without her own personality. Asia was smart and clearly had a mind of her own, though her parents taught her to be polite and considerate of others. She was also well trained and could take care of herself. Her mother and father made this a part of her everyday life, a morning regiment that would tie up her every morning.
Finally the bartender noticed her and sent out a server. Asia grinned from ear to ear and ordered some hotroot soup and some ‘ale’, something that she was forbidden to drink. The thought of her possessing the freedom to be able to order it and then drink it just lit up her face. Politely the server bowed and then retreated to fill Asia’s order.

A male hedge hog with long white spikes walked inside. He looked around for a seat in the tavern, but as always there were none. He looked around some more untill he found a spot in the right baqck corner of the room. At first it seemed like no one was there, but at a closer look he noticed that an otter with very dark fur. At first the hedge hog was hesitent to sit down, but because of his nature he couldnt help himself to take a seat. " "ello the names Aldar Twinspike mind if I take a seat?"

Linx knew a new arrival when he saw one. There seemed to be a lot of the black-furred and blue-eyed prowling around lately, but when one of them tried so hard to look... Cool... In this tavern where so many humble regulars came and went, and also by her extremely reclusive mannerisms, it was obvious that this one was new to the tavern. After finishing his drink and leaving a hefty tip for whoever gave it to him, the mouse decided it'd be best to see who this was.
Upon closer examination, meaning a good look after getting within ten feet, Linx found it was a young otter, female, a little younger than him and absolutely stunning in appearance. If he were actually heterosexual and single he might have found her to be a high priority, but that was just on first glance. It would be her personality that mattered, as was true now. Time to get in conversation distance.
He sat down directly across from her, taking a good look at her body language before saying anything... Well-mannered, practiced, possibly and probably apprehensive at his sudden arrival. It wasn't his intention to frighten her, but someone had to give this one a greeting... Ale. Linx hadn't noticed it before now. She was drinking... Ale. Being a teetotaler himself, and strictly so, Linx found that beverage to be somewhat repulsive, but he made no comment as of yet and did his best to conceal any corresponding body language. "What's your name?"

Linx almost winced at this mispronunciation. "Linx. Master of Weaponry. Commander."

Of course Asia always got a kick out of hedge hogs, since they looked all spiky and such. His presence brought a smile to her lips and then the words protruded out before she could stop them. Her voice was soft and smooth. "No... I don’t mind. The seats all yours. Please be my guest. My name’s Asia Scarbin. It's nice to meet you."
Before she could go on she noted out of the corner of her eye another, a mouse. Of this one she was a little more leery. She watched him as his eyes cascaded over her; such a thing was hard to miss, especially by a female who was use to receiving such gazes.
And then he spoke and sat without even asking. Asia took a long draught of her ale before answering him, acting as though drinking was an every day occurrence for her. Her lithesome shouldered shivered slightly with the tingle of the bubbles as they sleeked down her throat. It took her a moment before she could answer the male that sat directly across from her. "I... I am Asia Scarbin. And who are you?"

"As I said... I'm Linx. Officer at the fort and all, but I'm no good with the addressing with ranks... Good to meet you, Asia." He was, in fact, entirely uninterested in this one as far as romance might go... Being involved already, with a male at that, tended to do such things. The hedgehog was kinda cute, though... "I haven't seen you here before." Her drinking techniques were... Laughable. She appeared to be trying to look older.

Asia swallowed hard. She hoped that she didn't give the wrong impression to the male 'Officer' but then again it was he who caused her to put a slight wall up by sitting without being invited.
But the female acted as though his superiority didn't faze her one bit as she dug into her soup, eating rather primitively, using her fingers to pick up the shrimp and slipping them between her lips with a soft slurping sound. She however did chew politely before responding. "Oh so you're an Officer here? Quite an important beast here are ya?" It was then that she may have seemed a little sarcastic but then again her young age sometimes didn't award her with the incite as to when she should keep her mouth shut.
She leaned back in her chair and leaned her head back while she took a deep breath. It appeared as though her stomach was getting full. Apparently from not eating regularly it must have shrunk. But the ale she 'made' room for. She reached for it and held it teasingly to her full lips. The bubbles tickled her nose, which caused her to laugh and then to swipe the back of her paw over her face. Clearly she had a sense of humor even if she was trying to hide it.
After taking another long swig of her drink she sat it back on the table. The soup was refreshing but caused her to become warm. It was then that she flipped the cloak free from her shoulders, now revealing her slender frame to the world. She felt safe enough here. And besides she didn’t need a coat on to defend herself if need be.

"Well, actually, I don't want to overstep my bounds but it's less like I'm important here because I'm an officer, more like... I'm an officer because I'm important here." Seeing as he was the one to have revolutionized the way wars would be fought across Mossflower and beyond, he was surprised he hadn't gained celebrity status. This one... Just another beast, as far as he could tell, no huge fame for anything. Not that it really mattered to him... If he had a choice about it, Linx would be alone all the time, not noticed by anyone, left to his own devices. Then he met Archon...
Nice body. Too bad he was completely uninterested in it. He was in love with a beast the body of which he was surprised all Mossflower didn't envy. "Where are you from?"

Asia practically buried herself in her ale, desiring another as soon as possible. She'd better be careful since she's a babe to such things as the numbing affects of the drink.
She could also sense that there was something different about this mouse. What was it? She just couldn't put her finger on it.
The female drained her mug. "I'm from two Forts actually... Fort Ruddler and Fort Emerald Bay. You've probably never heard of them." This male seemed modest enough. She didn't seem to be his type and so she leaned in for a more intimate conversation. Slowly her guard was going down.

"Careful with that drink there... Seriously. Uh, never heard of those forts, which is kinda surprising... I've heard a lot of places in my time." Of course she wasn't his type, she was female. And Linx was already taken. He followed suit, setting his elbows on the edge of the table and leaning slightly inwards. "You know how this place has an insane amount of trade traffic."
The last thing he expected right then was for someone to join their conversation. But someone did, and that someone was Archon, who greeted his mate with an elating, although quick, kiss to his lips while sitting down next to him. "Hey... Life is good again," Archon said half-jokngly. He glanced across the table at Asia, still, for the most part, facing Linx. "Who's that?"

Asia's nose wrinkled slightly when the newcomer, being a male, kissed Linx. Where she came from that just didn't happen but she tried her best to remain stone faced. Politely she got up and made as if she were going to walk completely away but stopped in time to turn to face Archon. She heard his question to Linx. "I'm Asia Scarbin and I need another drink."
Comically she tripped just before she got to the bar. She ordered up two drinks and then returned with them, their contents slipping over the edge and wetting her paws slightly. Before she sat she sipped the one and then the other to keep them from spilling as she sat them down. Then her piercing eyes darted at the three males. "Oh did you guys want one?" She grinned and leaned forward, slurping and then licking her lips with a satisfied expression painting her beautiful face.

"No, I don't drink... Linx doesn't, either. Good to meet you, though, Asia..." He more than noticed Asia's reaction to his kissing Linx, but didn't care in the slightest. Since so many people opposed the nature of his relationship with Linx, it didn't matter much to him anymore, as if it did he'd probably have killed himself by now. "Easy with the ale, though. Really, that's..."
"If you lose that much coordination from one, I wouldn't be surprised if three rendered you K.O.'d," Linx finished for him. He had his paw in its usual position when Archon was nearby, holding his mate's far flank. He, too, had caught onto Asia's response... What was wrong with beasts?

Asia snickered and then waved a paw at the two. "Oh please! let me enjoy my freedom! My parents wouldn't even let me look at an ale at home!" The dark bombshell took yet another drink, trickling it slightly down her chin and then down her chest. "Oops!" Shyly she wiped it off with her napkin.
"So who does like to drink around here?" Another sip went down her throat. "We need to celebrate! I'm free!" She threw them a wink. Naturally even if the two of them didn't notice her looks it was possible that others in the bar did.

Linx couldn't help but arch an eyebrow at Asia's antics. Although he wasn't at all interested in her gender, everything about the way she was acting bordered on desperation. Maybe it was her taking a napkin to... "I take it you've been having a slow season?"
