Finnerator: *Fires more arrows into the fray killing three vermin. Just then a mass of rocks come over the wall slamming into one of the buildings. She looks over the walls to see the hundreds of vermin charging. Behind them are numerous catapults already reloading. She curses under her breath and prays that they can hold out just long enough to escape*

*Hearing the commotion behind her, Auburn quickly turns. Seeing the mass horde of vermins, she frowns. Spotting Finnerator, she runs over* What should be do? There's too many of them to attack. We'll be slaughtered for sure if we try.
*Silver gasped, seeing the vermin charging. Running as fast as she could, she approached Finnerator* Run! They're coming!
OOC: Reyan, its possible. Firing at a close range is hard, but not impossible. (I've tried it. Not a pleasant experience) And in case u might not know, Auburn always have at least 3 knives and her bow n arrow. So technaclly, its quite possible. Plus, Auburn's an archer and so is my alt.

OoC: No. I mean your character's acting like a bloody God... You're moving too fast for the amount of vermin there's supposed to be, surely one of them would've had time to get in a shot on you... And I know firing at close range is possible, I do do archery myself...
The vermin, still hidden, licked their lips, the anticipation building as the creatures on the walltop were gradually being pushed back and forced into a retreat. They waited ready to spring, the exits covered from their shadowed posts. Reyan ducked his head down as he passed off of the deck and into the small area that was acting as reconstruction HQ. A large silver fox sat behind a mess of papers piled on the ornate desk. The fox's orange eyes flicked up, 'Ah Reyan... You're back... Bring any friends this time? Want to slaughter more of my crew now?' the fox stood up and stalked over to the otter, his firey eyes hard as they looked directly into the otter's brown ones. The fox stood a glance across the Reyan's escort, 'Dismissed.' he paused before continuing, 'We have much to discuss...' He threw a paw around the otter's shoulders and directed him to a chair, returning to the desk and resting his booted feet on the papers, 'Now...'

On hearing the words; 'Ah Reyan... You're back... Bring any friends this time? Want to slaughter more of my crew now?' Flame's mouth dropped open. 'Dismissed.' 'We have much to discuss...' 'Now...' That was too much for him to handle, Flame started climbing up the back of the boat, digging his long claws deep into the woodwork. When he reached the stern windows, he gazed in, holding his breath in a mixture of apprehension and so he wouldn't mist up the glass. He was ammazed to see...
OOC: I would post more, but I can see that you have a rather particular plot intended here so I won't describe the interior of the cabin, I'll leave it to you.

OoC: Since it's a roleplay everyone is allowed to add plot and settings. You're just not allowed to god-mod or autohit... +shrugs+ add stuff if you want.
The fox paused momentarily before continuing, 'You know there is a bounty on your head... those on the far South coast have a great want of your death... We sheltered you here for a time and we are only held to it for another 7 suns - you haven't proven yourself a valuable asset... but we have always known you were never on our side, though not an enemy either; we took a chance keeping you here...' Reyan sat impassively on the couch, scratching the side of his face with the edge of his dagger. His eyes flicked around the room - dark wood covered the walls and floor, though a large, plush, crimson rug sat infront of the desk, matching the soft furnishings. The fox continued, never looking at the otter directly, a furtive quality over the few glances he did afford Reyan, 'However... the captains and I know of your influence over the slaves,' a sly smile spread across the foxes face, 'There hasn't been a single revolt since that first incident,' he paused again - the fox meeting the otter's look; an uneasy feeling tangable on the air. 'Anyway...' the corsair continued, averting his gaze, 'Now, we need your help again.'

OOC: Auburn cut one of the ropes. She had the knives out when the 3 vermins pot their paws on the battlement. She threw them as soon as she saw the vermin. The last vermin was deciding on how to attack Auburn. Auburn can shoot an arrow pretty fast. She’s a mouse, likes to run, and is chief medic (Which means she runs around a lot.)
*Silver realizes that Auburn and Finnerator are rooted to the ground with horror. She quickly grasps them by their arms and starts to slowly drag them in the opposite direction of the approaching vermin* Hurry up you two! We don’t have all day. It’s either we stay and die or run and live. I prefer the 2nd option. WAKE UP! *Auburn finally snaps out of her trance. Seeing the situation, she helps Silver drag Finnerator.* They go much faster but still slow compared to the vermin charging at them We gotta hurry! Finnerator, wake up plze!

Flame was amazed at the fear that the fox showed for the otter, and that Reyan was associated with the slavers. He'd also done something that keeped the slaves in check, who's side was he on after all? Digging his claws in deep again, Flame started to climb up to the deck of the beached boat, killing the only guard with a throwing knife, he drew his sabres and opened the door. "Now, Reyan, will you attack me or attack with me?"

OoC: In other words a character with little-to-no weaknesses when fighting or in the aftermath thereof...
The otter cast a glance to the fox before turning his attentions to Flameclaw - his eyes scrutinizing the cat. 'Neither...' he replied in his low tones, bringing his eyes to meet the gaze being afforded to him, leaning back on the small couch and looking entirely at ease - the expression on his face asking "So, what now cat?"

OOC: I was planning on giving you guys time to get out but this will do.
Finnerator: *Finnerator fires more arrows at the vermin hastily before following Auburn and Silver out the gate. They are almost at the gate when ten vermin jump out in front of them*
Blackstone: *Blackstone, Whitewillow and the Mouse watch in shock as half a score of vermin seem to materialize out of nowhere to attack those retreating* We have to help them. *But Whitewillow has already come to her senses and is slinging stones angrily at the vermin. One falls to a stone with a scream*

The other vermin react quickly, raising their shields against the stones. A few fall back, shielding a central vermin as he drew a bow and arrows - notching one unseen by the Fort creatures.

"Oh, so this is what it is?" asked the wildcat, lowering his sabres, resting the tips on the floor, but not relaxing in the slightest. "What is going on here? I mean you two seem to have had previous dealings, and I want to know what's going on!" Flame was getting a little exasperated with all this...this...SOMETHING GOING ON!

'Why should our dealings be of any interest to you?' the fox spoke with a hint of snideness on his already scathing tone, 'Should we just afford you trust and tell you of all that happens around this ship, my ship?' He stood up and walked around to the front of the desk, a long stilletto in one paw and a curved cutlass in the other - more than ready to meet the challenge if the wildcat decided to venture and attack. Reyan watched over the two apparently impassively but getting bored of the stand off after a few moments pushed himself to his footpaws and made for the door, 'Anything more you need say Mazyo... well you know where to find me...'

Stabbing both sabres into the planks, Flame threw a knife at each foot of the fox, before continuing on with another two at the door handle... effectively locking the three beasts in the cabin. After that he rested his paws on his sabres and said, "I have been told that I am almost unbeatable in single combat, I am extremely strong and agile... though I tire quickly, your only hope is not to fight at all, or to stay alive for about five minutes, constantly under attack. And Reyan, I think that you'll be found right here."

'Apparently I will be...' he replied to the cat, watching as the fox made no move to avoid the knives that imbedded themselves a hair's breadth from each of Mayzo's paws. The fox smirked, locking his orange eyes onto the cat's, 'No beast is unbeatable... I've heard hundreds of you Woodlanders making that very claim... Right before they found themselves skewered along my stilletto with a cutlass drawn across their throat...' he looked behind the wildcat suddenly, Reyan with one of the throwing knives in his paw, 'You also seem outnumbered...' The otter flicked his wrist and threw the knife back to its owner... or, more precisely, at its owner's back, quickly drawing one of his own daggers. 'You goin' to come quietly or do we have to persuade you?' The otter growled in his dark, low tones.

(OOC: The stupid proboards deleted my account because I'm under 13. Crap)
Munkip: *Starts to fire arrows at the vermin. Two of them fall before they crowd around the vermin in the center*
Yerpso: *His sharp eyes catch the slight movement within the obvious circle the vermin made. He cries out in alarm just as the arrow flies from the bow towards Finnerator*
