Why? **Archon definetly had something in mind, though Fishrudder had no clue what it was. He glanced around at the group, Aral really wanted to get moving, he could tell just by the look on his face.**

"I just have an idea for the tactics there... My CAR2 would echo too much out on the plains, anyway, too audible." This was the case for all of their chemical explosive weaponry. Archon found himself just aching to get outside at all, at that point. "Let's just g-"
Linx was already heading off to the gates. "Come on!"

Fishrudder chuckled at set off at a quick lope to catch up with Linx. Aral quickly followed, leaving Archon in the dust, finishing his sentence.

Archon sighed and followed the others dejectedly. Whenever he was brought along on one of these things, it never went well. It was all he could do to not keep up.
Meanwhile, Linx was actually laughing. He was just having a blast running along. "C'mon, dodge the enemy arrows! See 'em? Dodge 'em all!"

FIshrudder rolled his eyes, this was the Linx of old, before Archon came, he let his mind wander back to the days when he and Stealth were new too the fort and they had gone on a quest for a vermin lord, they had never found him, stalled by too many vermin. Those were the great days, when Finn alone ruled the fort and she was still regulary seen. Now it was him and Linx as the leaders.

Linx eventually tripped over his own boots while trying to turn around so he could run backwards, and ended up falling on his back, still laughing. "Oh, no! I've been hit! You'll have to continue without me! Run! Scram! I hate you all!" At least it was all a joke.
By this point, Archon had caught up and was staring at Linx on the ground. He would have tried doing something a bit more physically close than stand there, but they were wearing masks. "Oh, come on... That's making you so not look like you fit in that uniform!"

**Fishrudder just busted up laughing as he offered a hand to Linx. He replied to Archon** Your right, and doign that he doesn't deserve his badge either.

Linx took it and stood up, then looked at Fishrudder quizzically. Despite the hilarity of the situation, he just had to pause so he could ask his very simple question that took the wind out of that remark. "Hold on. What badge?"
"Yeah, sure, we all know you have a badge," Archon replied with a grin. It quickly vanished when he realized how poorly they were acting. "We'd better move. We probably look like real prey right now!"

Aral chuckled and said. "Let them come, they couldn't stand." FIshrudder rolled his eyes and then said "I agree, let's get moving."

Linx nodded as he thumbed back the hammer of his CEL. "Reports from scouts indicate a vermin emplacement in the northern fringe of the forest. Their number, upper fifties, at least. We're gonna have to be pretty ingenious here on how we kill 'em. Yes, they've already attacked trade convoys, we are authorized."
"Sure, well, ingenious stuff is why you're here," Archon replied with a grin.

Fishrudder nodded and said "Well the CLOS fire will scare them silly, that should scatter them, send Archon and Aral around to nail the back, and we can attack the front after firing the rounds? We might need some micro-managing though

"No scattering," Linx responded flatly. "No... All of us have to just close in from the corners and keep them all contained. Don't let any escape. If they want to surrender, well, let them... If they don't, well, kill them. And take their money. 'Freeze their assets', like those legislative puppets like to say." In truth, that was more of a judicial term, but it was all government to the mouse. He clicked off his safety while resuming his original pace.
Archon smirked at the remark. He made to correct his mate on the discrepancy, but decided to ignore it for more important things. "No need to micro-manage. We have enough armament to destroy a camp twice the size of this one, at least. Why bother with meticulous tactics?"
