"I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me." said Dianna. She got down off of Linx. "I guess I couldn't stand not telling you my true feelings towards you anymore." guessed Dianna. Even though that was what had happened. "Can you forgive me?"

"So is this, like, a contest to see how many emotions you can go through in five minutes?" Linx gave Dianna an odd look and rubbed his forearms ruefully. "Uh... Yeah, I forgive you for... Something. Yeah. Definitely. Is this the part where we exit the garden side by side?" It looked like another one of those days for him. He was back into the routine of picking random beasts up already.

"To where?" asked Dianna. She didn't know where this was going. "Do you mean the marketplace or the tavern or something?" asked Dianna. She didn't mind standing side by side with Linx, since he already knew how she felt about him.

"Wherever you want," Linx shrugged. However, he was already walking in the direction of the market as he spoke. It just so happened that his house was on the other side of the market from the garden, though. "That's entirely up to you... We could stop for a drink in the tavern, if you like, I dunno."

"We don't have to go to the tavern, I just didn't know where you were going to take me." explained Dianna. She didn't feel like going to a place where there would be alot of other creatures about. But she also didn't know how Linx felt at the time also. "Where would you like to go? Or did you have to be somewhere?"

"Uh... I dunno, I should probably be getting back to the house, really," Linx shrugged. "I'm getting tired of being out here with all the beasts and noise..." When it came down to it, he was less social a beast than he let on. It was probably a bit ironic-sounding due to his intimate entourage, but they were close to him. Numerous strangers weren't fun to work with.

"Do you mind if I come with you?" asked Dianna. "I don't have to be anywhere too, and I don't feel like going back to my house." explained Dianna. "That is if you don't mind. "She hoped she could come with Linx. She wanted to spen more time with him.

"Oh, you don't know what you just got yourself into," Linx sighed disconcertingly happily. "You can come along, sure. It's just through the marketplace... That big fort-like building. By the actual fort. That's it. You have to have seen it at some point!" It was a big deal for the locals to have such a looming structure right there. For Linx, it was just somewhere he could be by himself, or at least with some carefully chosen company.

"Yes I have seen it before, I was wondering who lived there. But...what do you mean by, 'what I've gotten myself into'?" asked Dianna. She hoped she didn't make the wrong decision by going with Linx, depending on what was so bad about going with him. But she wanted to know.

"OK, let me put it this way." The market rapidly approached, driving the tranquility of the garden away like thunderclouds rolling into a bright summer sky. "There's one thing that happens at my house when anyone visits. One thing, and anyone. You do realize that, don't you?" He wouldn't try to pressure her to continue; it wasn't like he needed her. But there'd be little backing out later.

"Ok?" said Dianna. "And what's the 'one thing'?" Dianna wasn't getting what Linx was trying to say. "...you don't mean...'it'?" asked Dianna. She was now more confused than ever. She didn't think that Linx was into that stuff.

"OK, think of it this way," Linx sighed. Apparently, his point hadn't gotten across quite yet. "You fell for me over the course of several minutes. I've been here for several years. Do you think you're some sort of isolated incident?" He seemed to have beasts on the street that were magnetically attracted to him. It didn't make a lot of sense in his mind.

"No, I don't.." said Dianna. She now didn't understand why she did fall for Linx in those matter of minutes. Maybe she did love Linx, or maybe she didn't. But she knew if she did later. "So you are emphasizing about 'it'...right?" asked Dianna.

"Even if I don't, someone else will," Linx pointed out cheerily. It was simply inevitable in that house. It'd happened with every single beast that walked in the door, even if not with himself; even Kade and Seria buckled and fell under that one. "You'd be surprised."

"So..how often do you do it?" asked Dianna. She didn't know if Linx was wanting talk about this, if he was leading towards it. Or if she was leading towards it. She hoped that she wasn't. "Not to be nosy or anything."
