On a day like this, with the sun shining bright. And no clouds in the sky, it could seem nothing would go wrong. That was to Dianna Trulgher that is! After wanting to get out of the house, and getting all the supplies she needed for her house, Dianna thought it would best for her to take a relaxing time in the garden. Look at the flowers or take a nap in the soft grass. Which that is what she did! She found a good, soft place to take a nap at, and finally dozed off, letting the day pass by.

Linx didn't have such a graceful time in the garden. Heading in with his summer clothing on, he made barely any noise at all with his rubber soles padding against the grass. Staring up at the trees as he walked, Linx didn't know where he was going until he tripped over... Something. The shape of what he tripped over made him realize while falling through the air that he'd hit a living beast. Then he crashed into the dirt. "Ugh..."

Dianna woke up with a startle, she looked over at the fallen beast, and didn't mind the pain she felt in her side. "Are you ok!?" asked Dianna. She felt sorry for the mouse, that did trip over her. She now thought that it wasn't such a good idea to lay in a place that has a good feeling to one's body.

With his shins still on Dianna's abdomen, Linx had to take a few seconds to roll over and face her, getting his legs off the hapless mouse in the process. He was less than aware himself and it provided for an immensely awkward situation. "Uh... I'm fine... What about you, did I... Did I hit you there?"

When Linx had mentioned the spot where he tripped on her, Dianna started to feel alittle pain go through the spot. "Yes, but it's nothing to fret over. But more concerned about you! That was a big..." Dianna's mouth lost their words, when she eyed Linx's face, and body. "...a big fall...!" said Dianna.

"Uh... I just fell over. I'm fine. Really, I'm enlisted, I can handle falling over attractive young mice. Isn't that what we're... Oh, no, that's falling for them, my bad." Linx, clearly maintaining a jovial mood despite his tripping over the younger mouse, grinned at her rather unruly manner.

Dianna tore her sight away from the attractive mouse, blushing at the time also. "Um, I don't think we've ever met before. My name's Dianna Trulgher." introduced Dianna.

"Nice to meet you, Dianna... I'm Linx Exotic." He paused for emphasis. The last name was known through the entire continent, so he didn't expect less than a shocked response there. "I'm always happy to meet another friendly beast, and you... You do seem friendly, so congrats."

"Thanks! I think..?" said Dianna. She turned away from Linx, and looked around at all the flowers and creatures. "Um....So I take it your the owner of that 'Exotic' weaponry store?" asked Dianna.

"Yes, I'm the head of Exotic Weaponry. Did the name clue you in, maybe?" Linx had actually named it Exotic Weaponry before he made it his last name; his wares were simply exotic. That particular backstory would stay in the dark while they talked, though. "Ah... Whatever. I don't matter that much, what about you? You... What?"

"I'm just someone that moved here not to long ago! Used to come here when I had to get food or something for my family." explained Dianna. She didn't feel like saying that she was the oldest of her siblings, and decided to keep mum about it. "So, why aren't you running your store?"

"Well, that's a very good question," Linx replied in a sarcastically formal tone. "I don't have to run it. All I ever really need to do these days is make the odd invention once in a while to keep a flow of income going, but exports to outside the fort are even working around that. I have someone to run my finances, someone to run trade agreements... I just fuel it."

"So basically you work whenever?" asked Dianna. "That seems like an easy going job!" Even though you probably would be stumped on new ideas. "So are you looking for a new idea here at the garden? Or just wanting to not work today?"

"Well, I'm also the Fort's Master of Weaponry... Juggling two jobs there, and it's easier than it sounds... I'm not really looking for a new idea here. No matter what some beasts here at the fort might tell you," Linx explained with a confiding smile, "I actually enjoy myself by myself from time to time." His personal life was at least vaguely well-known. It was definitely big enough to let it be seen without a microscope.

"Well, as long as you like your job!" said Dianna. She didn't mind not working, the only time she ever needed to get money was to help anyone. "It's a nice day today!" smiled Dianna. "It is hot though. I wish a breeze would come by or a cloud would cover up the sun. But no one can control the weather!" said Dianna as she looked up at the clearless sky. She then looked back down at Linx, the thought of the muscluar mouse made her feel hot in the face.
