*Kade glanced behind him to make sure that Siohen was keeping pace and, upon seeing that she was, continued on. The room that she would soon be occupying was a bit of a ways down the hall so they continued walking for about another fifteen to twenty seconds or so before he came to a halt at one of the doors. He put the key into the lock and turned it. There was a faint click as the door unlocked. Kade turned the knob and pushed open the door, revealing a lighted interior. It was rather warm in the room so that meant that it was close to the the furnace, which was good for Siohen. The room was fairly well lit by the ambiant light coming from the halls, everything inside was visable so there wouldn't be any stumbling over things. The room was empty of any other beasts, thankfully, and now belonged to Siohen. He stepped aside to let the mouse enter and inspect the room for herself.* "Well, here's your room.*

Siohen stepped inside and looked around the room, as passively as she could, afraid to touch anything. It was all very sparse and economic, but at the same time rather elegant in that it was so apparently effective. After a few seconds of observation, she glanced at the oil lamp mounted on the wall, which was currently not lit, before turning to Kade. Her clothing continued to drag painfully along her damp fur and she shuffled her footpaws awkwardly, unwilling to say anything about her new room or even the moisture problem that was currently afflicting her. Speaking was just not something she wanted to even think about trying. I just want to lay down for a while... Like I can tell him that.

*Kade noticed the awkard shuffling of the footpaws coming from Siohen and figured that she probably wanted to tell him something but couldn't because, well... she literally couldn't.* "So, you want some alone time, I'm guessing?" *He said, figuring that that might be what she wanted. He wouldn't be surprised if it was so, he knew if he were in her position that that's what he would want. If that was what she wanted, he would just leave, without even asking for his coat back. She needed it more than he did and he had others so it wasn't much of a loss.*

Nodding slowly, she tried not to make a big deal of it. At least he was asking her yes or no questions only. If he planned on doing anything more, he'd be disappointed. Whatever his name was. Did he tell me his name? I dunno what he's called. Gesturing to the lamp, she nonverbally suggested that it be lit before he shut the door. Otherwise, things might turn pitch black in the room.

OOC: Kade told her his name earlier.
IC: *Kade looked at the lamp for a second before realizing what she was wanting him to do. Indeed, he should've thought of it himself, when he closed the door it was going to turn the room into one very dark area. He took the lamp off the wall and lit it off of one of the flames already in existance out in the hall. After having done so, he put the lamp back in it's holder on the wall.* "Ok, there anything else you need before I leave you to yourself?"

There were a lot of things she might have wanted. She could request food, preferably hot food since she'd been deprived of it for so long, a drink of water, direction to the nearest lavatory, a change of clothing or even just his company. However, all of these would require her actually speaking, unless he had a quill and parchment handy. She wasn't sure whether to brush those off and give him a negative or actually say yes and perhaps have one of her desires fulfilled. That, though, would take speech, and considering how she'd performed so far, that wasn't a very good idea. This indecision was clearly expressed through her body language, although unintentionally.

*Kade noticed that Siohen seemed undecided, like she wanted to say something but couldn't.* "If you wanna say something, there's a quill, parchment and ink in the drawer in that little nightstand there." *He said, pointing at the little thing beside the bed. Indeed, all rooms had such things in them because they were pretty much a basic neccesity to many creatures at the fort. Double that in this case, perhaps triple that even.*

Sighing in relief, Siohen immediately went for the drawer, yanked it open and fished out the necessary tools. Soon enough, she was scribbling out a request to Kade in barely legible southern-slanted writing. As soon as she was finished, the mouse put the stopper back in the ink bottle, put it and the quill back in the drawer and used one paw to shut it while using the other to give Kade the parchment. It read, I'd like some food, hot if possible, and water. Also, where's the bathroom?

*Kade laughed as he read the slanted writing given to him by Siohen.* "Hot food is no problem. The bathrooms is at the very end of the hall, spaced off by itself. It's even got a little sign on it saying 'Bathroom' so it's pretty much impossible to miss." *He had pointed down the hallway in the direction that she was inteded to go to actually get to the bathroom. He didn't fancy the idea of following her down there and waiting for her to come out down there and didn't think she would want him to, hence him not offering to show her exactly where it was.*

Siohen paused for a moment, and then snatched the parchment back, offering an apologetic look as she got the ink and quill back out. She opened the ink back up again with a sigh and dipped the quill in, writing in a few extra words. This time, the mouse didn't hesitate to hand it back to Kade as soon as she was done writing, but she didn't put the quill or ink back in case she had to write more. The additional text read, My fur is damp. My clothes are hurting me. Do you have looser clothes?

*Kade just kinda looked at the parchment for a few seconds before looking back up at Siohen.* "Well, uh... I don't have a secret stash of womens clothing, if that's what your asking. All I've got are my clothes and they'd be loose if nothing else... clothing is one of the few things that the army doesn't give away for free, surprisingly enough." *Kade had no idea what to do for the mouse. He indeed did not have a secret stash of women's clothing and didn't know anybody who did... most people in the army were male.*

Sitting down on the bed in disappointment, Siohen suddenly winced as her shorts were pulled into her pelvis in a very uncomfortable manner. She looked up at him with a sigh, not knowing what to do with herself. It was hard to not feel self-conscious in this situation, but she did her best. Leaning over to take another piece of parchment from the drawer, she scrawled down a single sentence and showed it to Kade without bothering to hand it over. Come back in twenty minutes. It was pretty self-explanatory.

"Uh... right." *Kade said, knowing that it was definitely best that he left. He shut the door behind him as he exited the room and walked down the hallway to his own room. After spending around twenty minutes doing nothing, he exited his room and walked back down the hallway to Siohen's door. Upon reaching it, he knocked three times, he wasn't going to barge and risk intruding on her personal space.*

About fifteen seconds later, Siohen opened the door. Her fur was looking a little drier, as were her clothes, and she didn't seem quite so pained this time around. She'd spent her time using the oil lamp to heat things up and thus accelerate evaporation, which gave her clothing a very nice crisp warmth to it. Smiling slightly at him, the mouse made an attempt at some very simple speech, feeling substantially less nervous than before. "H-h-hi."

"Hi. Looking much less damp, I see." *Kade said and smiled at her. He liked smiling, it was an enjoyable act and usually seemed to make other beasts unconciously loosen up some and not be nervous or what have you. Unless, of course, the smile is an evil one in which case it causes the exact opposite affect than that of a normal smile.* "So, do you still need to go to the bathroom or do you want to get some food?"
