"Yeah." Cressida said with a smile while starting to walk into the woods. "We should get going." She said to Aldar.

"Lets go." Aldar walked along with Cressida into the woods. Hopefully they would find a clearing soon.

After walking in the woods for some time, Cressida noticed a clearing up ahead. "Hey Aldar, there's a clearing just up the trail, come on!" She said as she started to run at the small clearing just ahead.

"Sure that'll work." Aldar ran with Cressida as the clearing approached. A light wind formed at the clearing, without the cover of the trees. The snow lay sparkling on the ground, untouched by footsteps. "Perfect."

Cressida smiled as she walked out into the clearing. "So, are you ready for a spar?" she asked with a small grin on her face as she rested her paw on the hilt of her sword.

"Right." Once again the memory of their last spar appeared in his head, pounding at his thoughts. "I'm ready." He slowly grabbed his sword out of the hilt, freshly cleaned from battle. It seemed more and more like a weapon of death to him as it sparkled in the sunlight. He walked slowly to the middle of the clearing, and waited for Cressida to face him.

Cressida grinned as she too unsheathed her sword. She took a few steps forward and watched as the sunlight glinted off of her sword. "I'll let you take the first swing if you want." Cressida added with a quick wink. She was ready.

"Eh... you first." He brought forth his fighting style, for now holding his sword with both hands, seeing that he had no shield. After all, it was his favorite way to fight. He predicted no holding back from Cressida, and hoped that he would do the same...even though he knew completely that he wouldn't be able to.

Cressida grinned. This was her chance to show him how strong she really was. She was a true warrior, and just because she was a girl didn't mean that she was any worse of a soldier than any man. She raised her sword in both her hands and charged Aldar.

Aldar sidestepped to the left and ducked as she charged, then swung back halfheartedly to hit her in the the shoulder blade. So far, no mistakes. He repeated that over and over in his head, to get that memory out of his mind.

Cressida rolled out of the way just in time. She quickly stood up and tuned to face Aldar. She raised her sword again and waited for his attack.

He was surprised that the blade almost hit her, but forgot about it soon and slashed and her ribs with his sword, seriously thinking about quitting and grabbing a couple of sticks to spar with, but didn't show this in his expression, which showed him looking as determined as ever.

Cressida held her stance as she blocked Aldar's swing with her sword. He was a lot stronger than her, so she held the block for only a moment and jumped back a few feet with her sword raised once again. She wasn't about to give up.

He was on the offensive and decided to keep this position. He swung quickly again at her right arm, decided to curve out if he got a little to close, her stance was low because of the block, and he thought that it would be an easy target to hit.
