"Heh...well how about I give you a simple answer. It's our home, why leave it forever?" He walked closer to her and was now looking down at her. "Wouldn't it be defenseless without the help of it's warriors?"

"Yeah. That's true. All my life I have wanted to become the best warrior in the world, and now I don't know if that is what I ever really wanted." Cressida said as she slowly opened her eyes to see Aldar looking down at her. She smiled as she looked into his eyes.

"Well, then what do you want to be? Iv'e spent my time being a warrior....and I suppose it's just my place to be now." He decided to sit next to her, and maybe look up at the sky. After all it was pretty beautiful today.

"I'm a warrior, and I'll always be a warrior. It's all I know how to be." Cressida said as she sat up next to Aldar, with her head still faced toward the sky.

"I suppose. But, it's never too late to start something new. I mean, personally when I'm old, I don't expect to be slashing around with this 'ol sword here." Aldar set his paws down on the soft snow. "If you weren't a warrior, then what would you be?"

"I don't think I could ever be anything but a warrior. It's in my blood, I was always meant to be one." Cressida replied while turning her face towards Aldar's with a small smile on her face.

"Well...there's not much to say about that. If you were meant to be one, then I guess you have to be one. But hey, there's never enough warriors around anyway. However, what exactly forced you to become a warrior? Or, should I say, what made it meant to be?" He politely returned the smile, as he had always done with anyone.

"My father was a warrior, my brother a warrior, it seems that the God willed it that way." Cressida answered while resting her paws in the soft cover of snow.

"So it just runs in the family with you? That seems to be the case with a lot of people, myself included." Aldar noticed a small amount of snow on nose and quickly brushed his nose.

"Yeah. I guess that's how it has always been." Cressida replied while sticking her tongue out to catch a little snowflake. "What was your family like, Aldar? Were they all warriors like you?"

"My family...Well yes, my brother and I being the warriors, my parents actually not. Yeah, my family was nice, especially my father. He was always supportive to me. Now I just wonder if any of them are actually left." Aldar knew full well however, that everyone was dead, with the exception of his more distant family. He never knew what their fate had become. "Heh, my brother, was definitely a far better warrior then myself. I'm sure that if he had ever joined an army, he would rise up the ranks quicker than anyone could think possible. Yeah, I looked up to him alright. I've always wanted to be better than him." He found this a very odd topic to talk about, and paused a bit through his speaking to collaborate what to say next. Physically he was starting to feel colder, as the day was slowly starting to end. He made a mental note that the sun would set in a few hours, and that being lost in the forest without supplies was not one of the things he really wanted to do at the moment.

"Yeah, I know exactly how you feel." Cressida replied. "My brother was always a far better warrior than I, but as I have grown older my skills seem to have exceeded his." Cressida said while she began to shiver a little. "Its getting a little cold out here, you wanna go back home?"

"Well it's been years for me, and I haven't become nearly as good as him..." Aldar slowly stood, brushing the snow off of himself. "Alright, we can go if you want." He turned and held out a hand for her to grab. It seemed almost odd that she knew to go home almost exactly the same time that he had thought of it.

Cressida smiled as she took Aldar's hand. As she took his hand she seemed to get distracted by his eyes. They seemed mesmerizing in the soft blanket of white that surrounded the both of them. The site was so amazing.

After helping Cressida up, he started following the footprints the had created while walking here. He noticed the more beaten snow that the spar took place on, and remembered ever step of the spar by using the holes that were thrown wildly about the field. "You just gonna stand there or keep moving eh?" He grinned over at Cressida who hadn't moved since they had stood.
