Dianna sat down on the nearest couch, it felt comfortable to sit in, and she felt like she could fall asleep any minute. "I like all of this alot!" complimented Dianna. She waited for Linx to sit down, but also started to wonder why he hadn't yet.

Linx was just taking his time. He had to lock the door after them first, which took a few seconds. Once he was done and his keys were back in his pocket, the mouse ambled over to sit down by Dianna. "Well... It's a pretty... Futuristic house, I guess. Glad to hear you like it."

Dianna watched as the mouse sat down, his voice soothing as always. "Not as much as I like you." said Dianna. She moved alittle closer to Linx. Her body not being controlled by her again.

"Aw, isn't that sweet," Linx commented idly. It sounded like a question, but wasn't, which was strange in its own right. He looked over at Dianna and watched her approaching him with slight curiosity and equally slight apathy. "Well, you... I dunno, you're all right."

"Again..thanks?" asked Dianna. She stopped moving closer, and looked down at her foot paws. "You..don't really like me, do you?" asked Dianna. She sighed as she waited for the answer of 'yes' from Linx.

"Well, I don't really know you all that well, Dianna," Linx sighed. "I dunno who your family is, or where you live, or what your favorite food is, or anything. Come on. How can I like you when I know so little about you?" Some talking was due first. It'd help if she was at all known to him.

"True.." sighed Dianna. "I'm..a sibling of about 20 or so brothers and sisters." said Dianna. "I'm the oldest of them all." She didn't want to talk about her family at the most. She loved them, but they were annoying at times. "What about your family?" asked Dianna.

"They were completely insane and I was brought up with them and there were murder attempts left and right and all my siblings are dead now and my parents are dead too and the house they were in is probably gone, and I..." Linx paused to take a breath in. "And I ran away a while ago so I can't tell you a lot more than that, they didn't live here at the fort."

"Oh...I'm sorry to that happened to you Linx. Did you ever find the person that killed your family?" asked Dianna. She felt sorry for the mouse, not having a family anymore. She wasn't sure how the mouse felt about loosing a family, but knew that it was pretty sad to begin with.

"Well, yeah, my family killed my family," Linx sighed. "The murder attempts were all from within the family. I was wondering if I had made that clear... They were insane, remember?" He didn't like to be associated with any of them; he'd stripped himself of his last name upon arriving at the fort and eventually gave himself a new one.

"Oh...well, I guess you want to change the subject now?" asked Dianna. She racked her brain to think of another question. "Um, what do you like to do most of the time?" asked Dianna. Needless to say, she more than likely knew what the answer was, but thought it would be best to ask and make sure.

"Well, when I'm not in the house," Linx started with a grin, "I like to sit down with some parchment and try drawing an invention. I've never had an instance where I drew something, it worked on parchment and it didn't work in practice. I mean ever when I say that, the first edition never works... But I do invent a lot." He spent a few hours every day doing just that. Coupled with his training, job management and extensive recreational agenda, though, that made his day packed.

"What type of paintings have you drawn? I love paintings!" said Dianna. She wanted to see some of the artwork that Linx had drawn. "Do you think you could draw me?" asked Dianna. She always wanted to have been drawn by a painter.

"Paintings? I'd call them more sketches. I haven't drawn a lot of actual beasts in my time, I've done a few... Eh." Linx was a better artist than he admitted. He had a tendency to copy traits meticulously, which benefited him greatly when recording ideas for inventions. It meant things tended to take a while, though. "I dunno, my paws are done drawing for the day..."

"Oh, ok. Maybe some other time then." said Dianna. She tried to think of another question to ask Linx, but couldn't up with one. She hoped that Linx would ask her a question. "Is there anything else you would like to know more about me?" asked Dianna.
