"Uh, about you? Well, I'd like to know your job, actually," Linx shrugged again. "I mean... What do you do?" He didn't mean to sound patronizing, but he just didn't know yet. He wanted an idea of her income, social ring and the like so he'd be able to better appeal to her.

"I mostly help anyone that needs the help." said Dianna. "Like get them food if their to sick or old or something. Or help them clean around the house. Stuff like that." explained Dianna. "It's not a steady job. Some people don't need the help, and I'm left trying to save any money I have left just to buy food for the next week, or payment for my house. Mostly payment for house." explained Dianna. "Sometimes I am givin' food as payment. And I use that to sell to the house owner to pay off for the house if I don't have any money at the time. I don't know who the person is though...but I'm sure he's really wealthy, and is nourished well with all the money and food I give to him." said Dianna, she started to feel down about the subject of jobs. She knew if she didn't meet up to payment standards then she would be kicked out of the house for sure.

"You're... Paying back your house with money you aren't guaranteed to have," Linx summarized slowly, frowning at the idea of it. He'd never had to live like that and it was hard to imagine, as usual. "Well... You ever consider a... Different job? That isn't the kind of occupation that I think of when I think of someone who, you know, owns a house and all..."

"No...I haven't. I don't want to get another job, and start out getting payed less than with what I already get..." said Dianna. "I'm already trying my best to stay out of bankruptcy, but if I change what I do, I know I'll get kicked out for sure." Dianna's eyes started to tear up. "Linx...! Is there anything I can do...?!" asked Dianna. She put his head on Linx's shoulder. Linx was the only person she could turn to, but she didn't want to put Linx on the spot, and make him help her.

"Why would you... Why would you get kicked out for changing your job to something more reliable? I'd like that if I were the one you'd gotten the mortgage from. And if it's the right job, you know, it'll... It'll pay more..." Dianna couldn't be completely without qualification. That didn't fit with having a house or anything. "You can't tell me you don't have a single degree of proficiency in anything."

Dianna leaned back from Linx, and wiped her eyes with one of her arms. "I..don't know. The only thing I know I can do, is help people with certain stuff. And you already know two of them." said Dianna. "I don't know of what else I can do." Dianna tried to think of what else she would be good at. "What about modeling for sketches or something?" asked Dianna.

"Modeling? That's not a full-time deal, you know that. Besides, I'm no full-time artist and I doubt I can get you to the right beasts for that one... You... Don't have any education-based degrees at all?" Linx found himself to be slightly taken aback. This was one beast he couldn't imagine being a part of the grand fort he'd come to know so well.

"I don't know, I guess I'm good in accounting." said Dianna. "But I'm not sure what is here that would suit that talent." Dianna didn't see any business that was good for accounting, but she also considered the fact that she hasn't been here as long as Linx has.

"Accounting? There's the odd job opening for that... I can't say there's a vacancy within my own business, but you can get upwards of 20 coins a week based on just that." Of course, he didn't include tax, which would lop it down to 17. There was no point in factoring in such figures when that was what Dianna was saying she could do.

And which business would the job be at?" asked Dianna. "If it's not in your business as you say." Dianna was hoping it was a good job as Linx was making it sound. "17 coins beats 5 coins any day!" said Dianna, who was now getting excited over the fact that she might actually be getting a better paying job, than what she's doing now.

Linx decided to skip the comment about five coins a day, which was, in his mind, impossible to live on, and move on to the glorious future. "Well, this'll sound a bit ironic, but you could get pretty far in real estate. A lot of property owners don't have anyone to do their numbers for them and there's a lot of job vacancies there... Just look into it, you're bound to find something, Dianna."

Dianna's tears started stop flowing, as she thought of what her life could be like. "I should try to look into it soon..right?" asked Dianna. "Before all the jobs are taken?" Dianna didn't really feel like going at the time, but if it was the best thing then she knew she should go.

"Soon as possible," Linx confirmed. "Not right now, mind you... It's not a matter of hours, more like weeks... But you need to keep that in the front of your mind. Got it?" It was practically a matter of life and death. He was getting appalled with how hopeless every life he encountered was.

"Ok, so is that all the questions for now? or...do you want to know more?" asked Dianna. She knew it would be now or never for Linx or her to know more about each other. "Um...is there something particular your wanting me to ask you?"

"Not really," Linx shrugged, yet again. "I mean, you know all you'd need or... Want to know... Really. I doubt you'd want to know, but you, uh... Yeah." His life wasn't one that was pleasant to pry into. If Dianna wanted to spend time with him, she'd have to stop asking questions like that.
